Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Industrial Automation Engineer.

Salary:

• €22,100–€31,200 per year, based on skills and experience

Employment type:

• Full-time

Work arrangement:

• On-site in Nicosia.

Main duties:

• Develop, test and apply PLC programs for new machine tasks and improvements to existing functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs and develop, test and apply HMI software.
• Learn to program Fanuc six-axis robots.
• Read, design and maintain electrical and pneumatic machine drawings.
• Prepare technical documentation and training manuals and deliver internal training sessions.
• Provide customer technical support for PLC software and assist with machine wiring, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong PLC programming in Ladder, Structured Text or Continuous Function Chart.
• Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT 2 or 3, or a similar environment; Python and C++ are advantages.
• Solid understanding of PLCs and industrial automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, communication and collaboration.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks with close attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.
