Mikael Trading Co Ltd, a leading retailer and wholesaler in Cyprus, which operates the LEPUS chain of gift shops, is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join its Head Office team in Nicosia.

Main Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with management

·       Maintain and update personnel records, HR databases, prepare HR reports and employment contracts

·       Assist with recruitment of staff (job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, onboarding and employment documentation)

·       Manage annual, sick, maternity and other employee leave

·       Support the implementation of HR policies and help ensure compliance with labour laws and employment procedures.

·       Assist with payroll and employee schedules.

·       Support the planning and organisation of staff events, training seminars and team-building activities.

·       Provide administrative support to management as required.

Requirements:

·       Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

·       At least 2 years of experience in a similar position

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Excellent administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent computer skills (MS Office)

·       Integrity, confidentiality, responsibility and a strong team-oriented attitude

·       Very good knowledge of the Greek and English languages
