Housekeeping Supervisor at The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection

Contributes to a professional and efficient housekeeping department aligned with company goals and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations at the assigned floor(s), ensuring consistent and high-quality housekeeping services.
• Navigates the floor(s) continuously, including stairways and service areas, to ensure full supervision and prompt responses to any needs. Escalates repeated deficiencies to housekeeping management.
• Conducts inspections of guest rooms and public areas on the assigned floor(s) after they have been cleaned by housekeeping associates, ensuring they meet quality and brand standards.
• Inspects workstations and carts for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensures all safety, cleanliness, and maintenance concerns identified on the floor(s) are reported and followed up on.
• Prepares and updates daily assignment sheets and communicates any changes or priority tasks to the team assigned to their floor(s).
• Runs room status reports for the floors, identifies and documents discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates the status of checkouts and occupied rooms.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality will be considered an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role or extensive experience as a room attendant in the Hospitality Industry
• Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Very good communication and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction
