AYA Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, fostering a strong organizational culture, and maximizing financial performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an inspiring leader, and a hands-on operator who can balance guest satisfaction with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Establishes clear goals and expectations for leadership teams through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
  • Identifies and develops leadership talent within the properties.
  • Inspires and motivates teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Holds department heads accountable for performance, productivity, and service excellence.
  • Maintains an open-door policy and promotes transparent communication.
  • Promotes employee engagement and a customer-focused culture.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversees daily operations with strong attention to detail, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conducts regular hotel inspections to ensure compliance with brand and quality standards.
  • Implements initiatives to enhance guest experiences, service delivery, and brand reputation.

Financial & Business Management

  • Identifies key business drivers to maximize profitability and long-term growth.
  • Analyzes sales and revenue strategies to ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Champions cost-control initiatives while maintaining service excellence.
  • Ensures appropriate pricing, positioning, and revenue management strategies for the properties.

Owner & Stakeholder Relations

  • Acts as the primary liaison between hotel owners and management teams.
  • Balances the interests of ownership and the company to ensure mutual success.
  • Ensures business strategies are aligned with owner expectations and ROI goals.
  • Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with stakeholders through consistent, proactive communication.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of hotel management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or department head role.
  • Proven track record of improving operational performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Experience managing multi-department teams in an upscale or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, service standards, and guest experience management.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret and act on performance data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality.
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS), MS Office Suite, and reporting tools.
