Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for a Head of Internal Accounting Department.

Main duties:

– Lead the internal accounting function and supervise an accounting assistant

– Maintain group records and prepare weekly and monthly management accounts

– Oversee taxation, VAT and statutory compliance

– Strengthen controls and prepare consolidated budgets and forecasts

– Monitor cash flow, costs, payroll and working-capital requirements

– Liaise with auditors, banks and suppliers and support management projects

Requirements:

– 2–4 years of experience in a comparable accounting role

– Good knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT requirements

– CPA, ACA or ACCA qualification is advantageous

– Strong analytical, organisational and deadline-management skills

– Proficiency in Word and Excel

– Fluency in Greek and English
