Group Financial Controller at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Group Financial Controller.

Salary:

• €3,333–€5,000 per month

Work arrangement:

• On-site

Main duties:

• Own accounting and group reporting across several portfolio companies, setting the reporting standard and ensuring useful monthly management information.
• Maintain the parent-company books, including intercompany loans, charges and interest.
• Ensure tax, VAT, payroll, levies and statutory filings are completed on time, coordinating auditors and external advisers.
• Run group payment cycles, loan repayments and intercompany funding, and maintain short-term cash forecasts.
• Review accounting records during acquisitions and bring newly acquired businesses up to the required reporting standard.

Requirements:

• ACCA or ACA qualification with at least four years of experience, including training years; audit experience with a recognised firm is preferred.
• Ability to prepare a clean set of accounts and explain every material balance.
• Fluent English and working knowledge of Greek.
• Based in Cyprus or willing to relocate, with ability to work in Nicosia and travel to portfolio businesses.
• Group or intercompany accounting and Cyprus tax and VAT experience are advantageous.
• Strong judgement, ownership, curiosity, Excel skills and resilience during demanding transaction periods.
