Full Stack Developer

 

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus

 

Short job description:

IANUS is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer who is interested in participating in European Research projects. Candidates will become a member of a very dynamic research team, and they will be given the training, assistance, and opportunities to develop and increase their skills in this competitive area. Candidates will be preferred if they have knowledge of European funding programs and can engage with partner organizations and funding bodies. Candidates should be graduates of technical disciplines of well-established European Universities. Other candidates from recognized institutions are also welcome.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer in our team, you will focus on the implementation and management of European and National research projects’ websites in the field of computer science, and cybersecurity and you will undertake the following main activities and responsibilities:

·        Execution of full website design and development

·        Design and implementing new designs and websites

·        Database development and management

·        Able to fix bugs and improve the performance

Job Requirements

 

·        University degree in Computer Science/Graphic Design or related field is required. The possession of a M.Sc. and/or Ph.D. degree is a plus.

·        Optimizing, Monitoring and Maintaining current websites

·        Design and implementing new designs and websites.

·        Experience with Laravel PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

·        Proficiency level in English

·        Experience with Docker is an advantage

·        Availability to travel for partner meetings and events abroad

Employment Terms

The position is on a contract basis. Initially, a tree-year contract will be offered, which is renewable based on performance for multiple years and beyond the scope of the assigned project (s). The gross monthly salary depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The executive period of employment begins as of the effective date and shall continue thereafter for a period of three (3) years. If mutually agreed between IANUS Technologies Management Team and the Contractor, the contract may be renewed under the same terms and conditions.

·        Gross monthly entry salary ranging from EUR 2,000 – EUR 2,300, based on qualifications and experience.
