Financial Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Financial Accountant.

Salary:

– €30,000–€35,000 yearly

Employment type:

– Full-time employment

Work arrangement:

– On-site work in Nicosia

Main duties:

– Report to the finance lead and supervise bookkeeping staff.

– Review accounting entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and daily finance operations.

– Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow information.

– Support VAT and statutory compliance, external audits and liaison with banks and suppliers.

– Maintain accurate closing processes, controls and financial data.

Requirements:

– At least five years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility.

– Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with Cyprus VAT requirements.

– Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is advantageous.

– Good Greek and English.

– Strong attention to detail, organisation and team leadership.
