Position Overview

The Director of Finance at Stoli Group plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational effectiveness of the business. This position is responsible for all aspects of financial management—including planning, reporting, compliance, tax, and cost control—ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role that that demands strong operational focus and disciplined execution. The Director of Finance will be a key business partner to senior leadership and will lead a high-performing finance team with a focus on insight, accountability, and long-term value creation, ensuring that strategic decisions are translated into robust financial plans and day-to-day actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Management

  • Implement strategic financial plans and initiatives in line with the company’s strategic direction and operational priorities.
  • Work closely with the senior management to translate financial strategy into actionable operational plans and provide practical financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Ensure the financial structure supports scalability and long-term business sustainability.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Deliver detailed performance analysis, dashboards, and scenario modeling to support agile decision-making.
  • Identify and track key financial indicators and performance metrics across functions and regions.

Financial Reporting and Accounting

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Supervise core accounting functions: GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and streamline financial processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Audit and Compliance

  • Manage all aspects of internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with international and local regulations, accounting standards, and statutory reporting obligations.

Tax and Transfer Pricing

  • Oversee corporate tax compliance and planning in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Manage transfer pricing strategy and documentation across international entities.

Cost Control and Financial Oversight

  • Monitor and manage logistics, production, overhead, and project-related costs.
  • Implement robust cost control frameworks and challenge spending to ensure value optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, cross-functional finance team.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

External Stakeholder Relations

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Serve as a trusted financial representative of the business in key external engagements.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Experience in FMCG, beverage, spirits industries highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
  • ERP proficiency (SAP) and strong Excel/financial modeling skills.
  • International experience and multi-entity consolidation experience are strong advantages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
