We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with real datasets, real workflows, and a team that values curiosity and collaboration as much as technical skills.

What you’ll do

Work with large, sometimes messy datasets to uncover insights and support business decisions.
Build and maintain data and machine-learning workflows and pipelines to keep our projects running smoothly.
Use Python, R, and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data. (We work with both R and Python, so experience in one and willingness to learn the other is ideal.)
Collaborate with teammates across Data Science, BI, DevOps, and Business Development.
Share findings clearly with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders.
Stay open to learning new tools and approaches. As a team, we regularly explore and adopt new technologies.

What we’re looking for

2+ years of experience working with data: Extracting, Processing, Analysing, and Communicating insights.
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills: ability to explain data-driven insights to different audiences.
Proficiency in Python or R (both are a plus).
SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, etc.).
Comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
Team members who enjoy exploring data, asking questions, and learning new things.

Bonus points for experience with

Machine learning (tidymodels, mlr3, scikit-learn, etc.).
Data visualization tools (Tableau, Sisense, Power BI).
Shiny for R or Python.
Big data tools (Spark, Databricks).
