What You’ll Do:

As a Compliance Officer you will be responsible for overseeing compliance, AML, and legal matters across the regulated and unregulated entities serviced by the company. This role ensures that the company’s services align with applicable regulatory expectations, industry best practices, and contractual obligations. The Compliance Officer will also supervise and support junior compliance staff to maintain efficiency and consistency in compliance-related functions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor current and upcoming regulatory requirements, assess their relevance to business operations, and support updates to compliance monitoring programs. Stay informed of global developments in CFDs and shares.

• Business & Product Evaluation: Assist in the review of new business initiatives, products, and services from a compliance perspective. Conduct basic risk assessments and provide input to support decision-making.

• Compliance Monitoring & Reporting: Support the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Monitoring Program. Work with relevant departments to meet reporting obligations and assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings.

• Licensing & Approvals: Assist with research on licensing requirements and help prepare documentation and applications for new or renewed licenses.

• Training & Communication: Provide guidance on compliance queries from staff and support the delivery of compliance training sessions where required.

• Customer & Marketing Review: Review marketing materials and client communications to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. Assist in handling and resolving client complaints where compliance input is required.

• Investigation & Issue Resolution: Assist in investigating compliance-related issues and discrepancies, and help implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Support for Compliance Initiatives: Contribute to the development, review, and updating of compliance policies and procedures. Participate in compliance-related projects and initiatives.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to support compliance integration into business operations and assist with developing corrective action plans.

• Regulatory Reporting & Documentation: Support the compliance team in completing monthly, annual, and ad-hoc regulatory reporting obligations and maintaining accurate compliance documentation. 

Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a university degree or equivalent is essential.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar compliance role within the CFDs/Forex/Shares industry.

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CySEC Advanced, other industry-specific certifications) are a plus.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles applicable to the financial services industry, including CFDs and Forex.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Fluency in English (verbal and written); proficiency in Greek is preferred. Additional languages are a plus.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
