Compliance Officer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Compliance Officer.

Salary:

• €2,500–3,500 monthly

Employment type:

• Full-time

Work arrangement:

• Fully on-site in Nicosia

Main duties:

• Build, implement and continuously improve the compliance framework.
• Maintain AML, due-diligence, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Create monitoring plans, conduct reviews and maintain governance and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify compliance risks, perform assessments and guide teams on suitable controls and remediation.
• Monitor Cyprus and international regulatory developments and advise management on their impact.
• Coordinate specialist jurisdictional advice with external legal advisers.
• Maintain registers, regulatory records and corporate-governance documentation.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections, investigate incidents and track corrective action.
• Develop compliance-awareness programmes and deliver staff training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a related subject.
• Two to four years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory-affairs or risk roles.
• Professional compliance qualification is advantageous.
• International regulatory experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in Greek and English.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 09:00–17:45.
• Friday, 09:00–16:30.
