Clinical Fellow in Surgical Oncology & General Surgery at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Clinical Fellow in Surgical Oncology & General Surgery.

Salary:

• €2,000–€4,000 monthly

Employment type:

• Contract role; Junior or Senior Fellow level according to previous training.

Work arrangement:

• Based in Nicosia, working across hospital wards and operating theatres.

Main duties:

• Contribute to the daily operation of a busy specialist surgical service, dividing time between ward care and theatre work.
• Assist with patient care, postoperative management and ward rounds.
• Operate and assist in theatre under the direct supervision of the surgical team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Teach and clinically supervise undergraduate medical students from local universities.
• Gain supervised experience in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery, colorectal oncology, hepatobiliary surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, and general surgical emergencies and elective procedures.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and registration, or eligibility for registration, with the relevant medical council for practice in Cyprus.
• Previous General Surgery or Surgical Oncology experience; appointment level depends on prior years of training.
• Strong communication, commitment to clinical standards and collaborative working.
• Fluent Greek is required; English proficiency is advantageous.
