Client Accountant (Hybrid – 8418) at CareerFinders Recruitment Services Ltd.

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Legal, Accounting and associated professional services, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field is desirable, and holders of the LCCI Higher certification are encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking applicants with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience, who are fluent in both Greek & English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, as well as excellent working hours from either 08:00 – 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, or 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, and the option to work remotely is offered once per week.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Handling of accounting and bookkeeping on behalf of a portfolio of clients.
• Communication with clients.
• Performing debtors, creditors & bank reconciliations.
• Assistance in preparation and submission of VAT, VIES reports on behalf of clients.
• Any other related tasks that may be assigned.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
• Holders of the LCCI Higher Certification are encouraged to apply.
• 2+ years of previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of VAT accounting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.
• Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Knowledge of Excel.
