Our client, a rapidly growing fintech company in the high-risk payments sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Director. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong fintech background, adept at building and streamlining commercial processes, and driving business development. The ideal candidate will join the C-level team to lead commercial growth and ensure profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development, sales, and account management functions to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Create strategic plans for market penetration and track results.
  • Establish and improve internal processes, ensuring operational efficiency in sales and account management.
  • Repair and streamline existing processes to meet company objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define financial goals, focusing on profitability and revenue growth. Introduce necessary measurements.
  • Align financial plans with the company’s long-term objectives.
  • Be an integral part of the C-Level team, developing a high-performing commercial function.
  • Coordinate with CEO to streamline and own the commercial operations, previously managed across different divisions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in payments industry, with a strong focus on business development.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in high-risk payments.
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Proven experience in building and optimizing processes.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to drive profitability.
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with the company’s vision.

Location:

Cyprus (Hybrid working model available).
