About the company
Sidesunny is a fast-growing company in the solar energy sector. We are building a sustainable business across four core areas:
- Electricity distribution – purchasing energy from generators (solar parks, power plants, etc.) and selling it to end consumers (B2B/B2C).
- Power generation – securing land, obtaining licenses, and building solar parks.
- Wholesale trading – partnering with Chinese manufacturers for branding and further sales of solar system components in Europe (Cyprus, EU).
- Solar system installation – delivering high-efficiency solutions for both B2B and B2C clients.
We are looking not just for a strong leader, but a true driver of change — someone who can build a trading house in the solar equipment sector, earn the trust of installers, and develop a wholesale direction where value and quality, not price dumping, are the key factors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategy and business model, including feasibility studies, financial models, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Identify, attract, and grow a network of installers (B2B and B2C).
- Build a strong value proposition for installers: service, logistics, warranty support, technical assistance, loyalty programs.
- Establish and grow long-term partnerships.
- Drive sales growth and profitability of the wholesale business (from scratch).
- Organize procurement in China (together with local partners).
- Build a logistics chain “China–Cyprus.”
- Launch wholesale operations in Cyprus: warehouse rental, showroom setup, process automation, warehouse logistics management.
Requirements
- Fluent in English with excellent business vocabulary.
- Experienced in building and developing partner networks (installers or comparable B2B networks preferred).
- Understands how to create a compelling value proposition for partners (service, logistics, warranty, technical support, loyalty programs).
- Experienced in international procurement (China as a strong advantage) and familiar with global supply chain specifics.
- Skilled in launching wholesale operations: warehouse rental, showroom setup, process automation, warehouse logistics.
- Strong analytical skills and fully data-driven in decision-making.
- Experienced in international negotiations (especially with China and the EU).
- Strong soft skills: able to inspire teams, build motivation systems, flexible and proactive.
- Proven experience in creating a team “from scratch” and developing it into a well-functioning, results-driven unit.
