Assistant F&B Manager at AYA Resort Ltd

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Assistant F&B Manager who brings energy, charm, and provides consistent, high-quality service across all shifts!

Job Responsibilities

·       Oversee front-of-house dining operations.

·       Manage front and back of house service operations.

·       Supervise the service staff.

·       Participate actively in daily F&B operations.

·       Train new employees and guide ongoing staff development.

·       Monitor the F&B outlets flow and adjust staff assignments as needed on the weekly schedule.

·       Assist in planning and executing special events and private functions.

·       Communicate clearly with staff and management.

·       Provide food and beverages to guests in a warm, energetic, and professional manner, ensuring prompt service.

·       Take customer orders and deliver all food and drink items, using upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.

·       Clear tables efficiently throughout service to maintain a tidy environment.

·       Handle guest checks accurately and ensure secure payment processing.

·       Works with supervisors of the F&B and other departments for the better efficiency of the restaurant.

·       Prepare stations and tables before service and carry out assigned side duties as directed by the F&B Management team.

·       Collaborate with kitchen and bar team members to ensure seamless service flow.

·       Keep dining areas and service equipment clean and in good working condition at all times.

·       Respond promptly to guest requests and refer any complex queries to the F&B Management team.

 

Requirements

·       Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a Managerial role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort setting.

·       Excellent communication in English is essential. Fluency in Greek is a strong advantage.

·       Proven ability to provide outstanding service with a friendly and professional demeanor.

·       Comfortable working collaboratively in a high-energy, team-focused environment.

·       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

·       Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.

·       Familiarity with proper table settings and service standards.

·       Good physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments.

·       Ability to confidently describe menu items, pricing, and preparation methods to guests. 

·       Applicants must hold EU nationality without the need for a visa sponsor.
