Assistant Cook at Dart Recruitment

On behalf of our client, a well-established restaurant in Larnaca, DART Recruitment is seeking to recruit a motivated and reliable Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team.

The successful candidate will support the preparation and presentation of dishes while contributing to the smooth daily operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, and portioning
• Support the chefs during daily service
• Ensure that food is prepared and presented consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures
• Properly store and label food products
• Assist with stock control and kitchen supplies
• Cooperate effectively with the kitchen and service teams

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or a similar position will be considered an advantage
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organised, and hardworking
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Knowledge of Greek or English will be considered an advantage
