Area Manager at the JOB HOUSE

The licensed recruitment agency The JOB HOUSE (License No. 505), on behalf of its client, is looking for an Area Manager.

Role Summary:

The Area Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of the company’s owned betting shops in Nicosia, ensuring their smooth operation and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operations of all assigned shops and ensure smooth and efficient daily performance.

Monitor shop profitability and take action to improve results when necessary.

Ensure all shops are equipped with the required technology and infrastructure.

Handle recruitment, training, and ongoing management of shop personnel.

Organize work schedules based on company guidelines, ensuring fairness and seamless shop operations.

Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

Maintain exceptional customer service standards.

Resolve escalated customer complaints quickly and professionally.

Stay informed on local developments that could impact business operations.

Identify and propose new locations for potential business expansion, considering competition, clientele, and location suitability.

Qualifications:

University degree (BSc) is a plus.

Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience in retail, including at least 4 years in operations management (e.g., Area Manager, Store Manager).

Excellent command of Greek and English.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Solid problem-solving and team leadership capabilities.

Familiarity with NBA policies and procedures is considered a plus.

Good knowledge of the local market.

Salary based on qualifications (up to EUR 2,000 Gross per month)
