Architect – Residential Design & Project Coordination at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Architect – Residential Design & Project Coordination.

Salary:

• €2,500 gross per month

Employment type:

• Full-time, permanent

Work arrangement:

• On-site in Nicosia with regular construction-site visits.

Main duties:

• Design houses and apartment buildings and develop layouts from client requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare planning and building-permit drawings with the responsible licensed architect, plus construction details and design revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations and project requirements.
• Act as the main client contact for architectural and construction matters and present drawings, materials and specifications.
• Coordinate client-requested changes and communicate requirements to the construction team.
• Visit sites, monitor progress and turn on-site decisions into updated drawings and clear instructions.
• Coordinate engineers, contractors and suppliers, follow schedules and outstanding decisions and support project handover.
• Quantity take-offs and basic cost estimates may also be prepared where experience allows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and excellent AutoCAD or equivalent design-software skills.
• Residential design, project-coordination and permit-documentation experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, architectural details, materials and specifications.
• Strong client communication, organisation, coordination and problem-solving, including management of several projects.
• Good Greek and English and a valid driving licence.
• ETEK registration, Revit or SketchUp, residential site coordination, quantity surveying and cost estimation are advantages.
