Architect – Planning & Permit Coordination at Golden Careers Recruitment

Our client is seeking a highly organized and well-connected Architect to join their growing development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating architectural, structural, and mechanical studies, while taking full ownership of planning and building permit submissions and follow-ups with the relevant authorities (EOA / Planning Department).

This is a critical role for someone who understands not only design, but how to effectively navigate Cyprus planning procedures.

 Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure full compliance and consistency
• Manage the preparation and submission of planning and building permit applications
• Liaise directly with EOA and other relevant authorities
• Actively follow up on applications and monitor progress through all approval stages
• Ensure compliance with local planning regulations and building codes
• Identify potential issues early and proactively resolve them
• Maintain strong communication with consultants, engineers, and internal project teams

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture
• Registered Architect in Cyprus (preferred)
• Proven experience handling planning and building permit submissions in Cyprus
• Strong understanding of Cyprus planning regulations and procedures
• Established relationships and network within planning authorities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong coordination skills
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to push applications through efficiently
