AML Assistant at Dart Recruitment

Dart Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a regulated Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), is seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented AML Assistant to join their dynamic Compliance team.

About the Role

The AML Assistant will support the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a CySEC AML certification who wishes to grow in a structured, international financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, updating, and monitoring AML policies and procedures.
• Conduct AML checks and approve client documentation following a risk-based approach.
• Ensure compliance with Client Acceptance and Due Diligence procedures.
• Support monitoring for suspicious trading activity and best execution tests.
• Review and approve client communications and marketing materials.
• Help prepare reports for regulatory authorities and internal management.
• Stay informed on new AML legislation and regulatory updates.
• Support the AMLCO and broader compliance function as required.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
• CySEC AML Certificate (mandatory).
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
• Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

Desirable

• 1–2 years’ experience in AML or compliance.
• Familiarity with AML monitoring software.
• Understanding of SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) procedures.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
