Accounting Supervisor at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accounting Supervisor.

Salary:

– €1,800–€2,500 monthly

Employment type:

Work arrangement:

– On-site work in Paphos

Main duties:

– Oversee the daily performance and compliance of the accounting function and support the Chief Financial Officer.

– Supervise the accountant, storekeeper and food-and-beverage controller or cashier.

– Monitor cash flow and confirm that it remains appropriate and sustainable.

– Control accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, VAT analysis, bank reconciliations and regular tax-audit work.

– Ensure accurate month-end closing, forecasts, variance analysis and related reporting.

– Maintain employee documentation for onboarding, benefits, appraisals and disciplinary processes in line with HR practices.

– Prepare and control payroll.

– Assist with operational and departmental budgets and business planning.

Requirements:

– Three to four years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or food and beverage, including forecasting and budgeting.

– ACCA, ACA, CPA, equivalent professional qualification, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.

– Strong digital literacy across Microsoft Office, Office 365, Google Workspace, calendar and cloud business applications.

– Excellent knowledge of at least one mainstream hotel-accounting platform.

– Excellent Greek and at least very good English.
