Accounting Officer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accounting Officer.

Salary:

– €1,500–€2,000 monthly

Employment type:

– Full-time, permanent employment

Work arrangement:

– On-site office work in Larnaca

Main duties:

– Prepare and maintain accounting records for a portfolio of clients.

– Produce periodic management accounts and client-specific financial reports.

– Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns.

– Calculate monthly payroll and submit payroll-related information to the relevant authorities.

– Assist with tax and VAT matters and communicate with the responsible authorities.

– Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors and other accounting balances.

– Communicate directly with clients about accounting, payroll and compliance matters.

– Use Excel, accounting software and other digital tools to organise, analyse and complete work efficiently.

– Help improve and streamline internal accounting and administrative processes.

– Support other accounting and administrative assignments and report to management.

Requirements:

– University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related subject.

– Excellent computer literacy and confidence using workplace technology.

– Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills.

– Ability to use spreadsheets, formulas, data and digital tools efficiently.

– Willingness to learn new software and adopt improved working methods.

– Practical, open-minded and solution-oriented approach.

– Strong organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage several assignments within deadlines.

– Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

– Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT or a related role is an advantage.
