Accounting Manager at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accounting Manager.

Salary:

– €2,800–€3,000 monthly

Employment type:

– Full-time employment

Work arrangement:

– Office-based in Nicosia, with a work-from-home scheme

Main duties:

– Manage a varied portfolio of clients and oversee daily accounting, bookkeeping, transaction posting and reconciliations.

– Prepare IFRS-compliant reports, management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial statements.

– Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members.

– Prepare and submit VAT, VIES and other statutory filings.

– Liaise with authorities and stakeholders and advise clients on accounting, VAT and compliance matters.

– Maintain client relationships and oversee billing and collections.

Requirements:

– ACA or ACCA qualification.

– More than five years’ experience in the accounting department of an audit firm.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is desirable.

– Strong IFRS and Cyprus tax and VAT knowledge.

– Fluent Greek and English and strong Microsoft Office skills.

– Analytical accuracy, deadline management, leadership and communication skills.

– eSoft experience is an advantage.
