Accounting Assistant at Manpower Cyprus

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of a client, a leading logistics company, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Assistant to join their team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will become part of a global organization within the logistics sector and will support the Finance Department in the day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions

• Issue invoices and maintain accurate invoicing records

• Record receipts and payments in the accounting system

• Prepare debtor and creditor reconciliations

• Review, correct, and post data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations, including bank deposits

• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth processing of financial and operational transactions

• Support the Finance Department with daily accounting and administrative tasks

 

Requirements

• University Degree or LCCI Higher qualification

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or as an Accounting Assistant

• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• Previous experience in accounting will be considered an advantage

 

Benefits

• Gross monthly salary of €1,300 – €1,600

• 13th Salary
