Work Channel Professional Recruitment is working closely with a client and is seeking to recruit an Accountant.

Our client is a dynamic and growing hospitality group, operating a successful chain of restaurants across the Cyprus. With a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences, we are now looking for an Accountant to join our client’s team.

The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations and contribute to the smooth functioning of the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Record accounting entries and financial documents (invoices, receipts, etc.)
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Support the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and government authorities when required
• Assist in internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Cyprus accounting and tax legislation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software will be considered an advantage
• Good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
