Accountant at Dart Recruitment

DART Recruitment is looking for an experienced Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing company operating in the Hospitality & Food & Beverage sector in Larnaca.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to develop within a structured Finance team.

The Role

As part of the Finance Department, you will be involved in the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the business, including:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and weekly financial reports
• Support with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
• Supplier, bank, revenue and balance sheet reconciliations
• Accounts Payable management and supplier communication
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Lease accounting in accordance with IFRS 16
• Inventory reporting, stock reconciliations and variance investigation
• Reconciliation of transactions from online delivery platforms
• Petty cash, cash and banking reconciliations
• Coordination with the Payroll team for payroll journal entries
• Support during internal and external audits
• Contribution to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• ACCA, ACA or CPA qualification, completed or in progress, will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience within Hospitality, Food & Beverage or Retail will be considered an advantage
• Experience with SoftOne ERP and/or POS systems will be considered an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
• Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
• Good command of Greek and English
