Accountant at Dart Recruitment

On behalf of our client, a vibrant hotel based in Larnaca with local and international operations, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entries in the accounting system
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage a portfolio of clients and their bookkeeping obligations
• Perform reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors) and journal entries
• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns in accordance with local legislation
• Assist in payroll preparation and Social Insurance payments
• Provide support on accounting queries and maintain excellent client communication
• Report directly to the CFO for the preparetion of financial reports and other tasks
• Participate in audits and assist with preparation of management accounts
• Support other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed

Candidate Profile:

• 3–5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting
• Solid knowledge of Cypriot tax regulations (VAT, Social Insurance, Income Tax)
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent command of both Greek and English
• Experience with accounting software such as Theova and payroll tools will be considered an advantage
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional attitude, team spirit and willingness to learn
