On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and accurately record transactions in the accounting system

• Maintain organized documentation and filing of accounting records and transactions

• Prepare bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations

• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal policies

• Assist with accounting-related reporting and financial processes

• Perform any other related duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or holder of LCCI Higher Level or other relevant qualification

• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar accounting role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent command of Greek and English, written and verbal

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Detail-oriented and professional approach to work
