On behalf of our client, a well established and entrepreneurial family office, we are seeking a detail oriented Accountant to join their team. The group, founded in 1997 as a Venture Capital Fund, has expanded across a diversified portfolio including Financial Services, Consulting, Real Estate & Property Development, Energy, Online Businesses & Media, as well as Healthcare.

With a young, dynamic and highly motivated management team, the organization offers a fast paced environment with exposure to multiple industries and high level business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system including invoices and payments

• Review and verify accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial data

• Prepare and submit tax returns including VAT, IR7 and other relevant filings

• Calculate, review and ensure accuracy of tax obligations

• Reconcile statements with creditors and suppliers

• Communicate with clients regarding discrepancies or clarifications on statements

• Issue invoices and monitor receivables

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Support payroll processing

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation

• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Greek and English language

• Experience with E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Solid understanding of Accounting Principles and Income Tax regulations

• Familiarity with systems such as TFA, SISNET, ARIADNI, TAXISNET and TAX PORTAL

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management

• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems

• High level of integrity, confidentiality and reliability

• Team player with strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
