Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accountant.

Salary:

– €1,500–€3,000 monthly

Employment type:

– Full-time employment

Work arrangement:

– On-site work in Nicosia

Main duties:

– Maintain accurate financial records, reports and general-ledger entries.

– Manage accounts payable and receivable.

– Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

– Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

– Process invoices, expenses and payments.

– Assist with tax filings, financial statements and external audits.

– Maintain compliant and complete accounting documentation.

Requirements:

– Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

– Current ACCA studies.

– Basic knowledge of IFRS.

– Good Excel and accounting-software skills.

– Fluent Greek and English.

– Accuracy, analysis, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

– Shipping-accounting experience is an advantage.
