Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accountant.

Salary:

– €20,000–25,000 yearly

Work arrangement:

– On-site

Main duties:

– Support monthly management accounts, weekly reports and month-end and year-end closing.

– Maintain accounting records and reconcile ledgers, suppliers, banks, revenue and balance-sheet accounts.

– Manage accounts payable and coordinate with suppliers, payments colleagues and operational managers.

– Prepare VAT returns, maintain the fixed-asset register and account for leases under IFRS 16.

– Review inventory reports, investigate variances and reconcile delivery-platform transactions.

– Support payroll journals, internal and external audits, and improvements to controls and finance processes.

Requirements:

– Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

– At least three years of accounting experience.

– Professional accounting studies are welcomed.

– Hospitality, food-and-beverage or retail experience is an advantage.

– SoftOne ERP and Novasero POS knowledge is an advantage.

– Advanced Excel, strong analytical skills and good Greek and English.

Schedule:

– Monday to Thursday, 08:30–17:15.

– Friday, 08:30–17:00.
