Senior Accountant at the JOB HOUSE

The licensed recruitment agency the JOB HOUSE (License No. 505), on behalf of its client, a well-established company operating in the Audit and Accounting industry, is looking for an experienced Accountant.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Maintain and oversee bookkeeping and accounting records for company clients
• Perform and review bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
• Prepare, submit, and monitor VAT and VIES returns
• Manage company registrations and liaise with Inland Revenue, VAT, and VIES authorities

Skills and qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting, Economics) and/or professional qualification (LCCI Higher or equivalent)
• 2-3 years of experience in Internal Accounting or Accounting department of a professional firm
• Very good written and spoken English and Greek
