Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
As a Waiter/Waitress at Manko Athens, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service that aligns with our high standards.
Key responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to Manko’s quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout the dining experience.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to enhance their overall dining experience.
Process payments accurately and handle transactions securely.
Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various service periods and events.
Qualifications Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or luxury resort setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of Peruvian cuisine and beverages is an advantage but not mandatory Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems; experience with Micros is beneficial.
