Position: Solution Consultant Job Description: The purpose of the role is to assist in growing and supporting software and services with local, regional, and global partners at Hilti.
The role involves researching new business prospects by running customer surveys for product development and working with sales teams to develop local strategies.
The job holder needs to maintain knowledge of assigned product portfolio and related services.
Scope: Anchor job in Solution Selling structure.
The Service Consultant is the “Service Business Partner” of Account Managers in the field, helping them develop their skills in phase of pre-qualification and in selling an on-site analysis on their Focus Customers.
From the on-site analysis onwards, the Service Consultant becomes a “Solution Consultant” by helping customers in identify opportunities and designing a tailor-made solution that will both createvalue for the customer while reinforcing the perception of Hilti as a top partner in the eyes of the customers, as to improve the business relationship between both parties.
The position covers the following geographical areas: Northern Greece, Epirus, Thrace, Thessaly, and the Dodecanese; therefore, approximately 3–4 overnight stays outside Thessaloniki are required per month.
What awaits you: Focus on business development of Hilti software & services in a defined geographic area among current and prospective customers Analyze sales results, review customer fact base, identify key trades and customer potential to develop tactical sales strategy Coordinate efforts of entire team of Account Managers, Area Sales Managers and marketing team members with a goal of improving market reach of Hilti software & services Provide the sales organization with product expertise and support resources to support local community Provide customer consultation, analysis, and expertise on challenges in asset management Plan and participate in trade shows and other industry events Visit construction jobsites and offices to demonstrate Hilti’s value proposition to key stakeholders within customer’s organization Support launch of new products to customers and team members by acquainting them with product feature benefits and solution functionality Communicate with customers to identify new market opportunities relevant to local market Maintain knowledge of assigned product portfolio and related services (i.e.
Fleet, LTS, etc.) Facilitate start-up as well as ongoing training for new and existing customers Prepare MSA for launch; participate in sales team training with software & services support team Assist with training of new field specialists and assist with launch readiness in their MSA What you should bring along: Bachelor Degree Α.Ε.Ι or Τ.Ε.Ι (Management, Marketing, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) 2-4 years min experience in B2B field (service sector) would be preferred Ability to work in a cross-functional Team environment: Marketing, Sales and 3rd party service provider High level of computer handling skills such as MS Office Suite and smartphones Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Leadership skills, ability to engage people on different levels, internally and externally Strong active listening skills with developed commercial sense Strong interest in software and skilled in Microsoft office suite Willingness to travel/drive extensively, working autonomously in a field based role, managing your own time.
