We are looking for a highly skilled Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to join our projects in Crete.
The Role : The SSHO will oversee and enforce Health & Safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, 29 CFR 1926.16 Conduct inspections Perform training safety orientation trainings and on site trainings to employees and subcontractors Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems.
Lead a safety oversight team Implement and administer the Contractor’s safety program and Prevention plan Conduct daily safety inspections Prepare and submit safety reports and checklists for the pre-construction meeting and monthly for the payment certifications to management and clients as required Maintain accurate safety records including incident reports, inspections, and training documentation Ιnvestigate and report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions
