The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of assigned construction projects from the start of construction through completion, handover and close-out.
The role provides senior-level leadership and control over construction execution, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, to the required quality standards and in accordance with the company’s policies, designs and applicable legislation.
The Senior Construction Manager acts as a key link between the Project Managers, main contractors and sub-contractors ensuring clear accountability and effective decision-making throughout the construction process.
The position is expected to identify risks and problems at an early stage, take corrective action and escalate critical matters to senior management when required.
The Senior Construction Manager reports directly to the Chief Construction Officer.
