Senior Architect

Trenkwalder for its client, an architecture firm, is seeking a Senior Architect .

About the role: In this role, you will be responsible to manage and guide your team to achieve the goals set by the Principal or Partner and organize comprehensive and fault-free submissions for every phase of a project.
Schedule and Project Budget management will be part of your daily routine and you will be required to report regularly to the Principal or Partner about the status of the project, and offer proactively mitigation strategies and solutions for issues and risks that may arise.
It is anticipated that you will bring an advanced and established skillset to the company from which your teams will benefit from the get-go without “learning curve” delays.
A good fit for this role, should feel comfortable to juggle between multiple responsibilities and projects while effectively leading a number of architects towards the achievement of individual project and corporate goals.
Meanwhile, representing successfully the firm in front of the Authorities, the Client and other stakeholders is a must, showing a balanced mixture of technical expertise, strategic thinking and collaborative attitude.
At the same time, effective communication and active listening are of paramount importance for this role, since you will be the leading source of motivation and mentorship for your team.
Responsibilities: • Manage small teams of architects in medium and large-scale projects, ensuring the proper and timely delivery of all design packages from design to execution • Organize and manage the preparation of documents that will be shared with the client and 3rd parties • Be the main point of contact for external consultants, representing the firm on a day-to-day basis • Lead the coordination of all disciplines to produce a comprehensive, compliant and coordinated packages as needed in each phase • Act as the connection between the management and project team, reporting to them regularly on the status, budget, and schedule of projects • Proactively identify and mitigate any risks that may arise during a project and navigate your project successfully in ambiguous circumstances • Preside design meetings in the absence of the Principal or Partner, and facilitate brainstorming sessions with your team members • Provide mentorship and support to your team members and to less experienced architects
