ICAP Executive Search , on behalf of its client, a well-established manufacturing and commercial organization in the consumer products sector , with a strong presence in organized retail channels and export markets, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional for the role of: Sales Manager – Ref. 6222/SAM/ESS/GR Job Overview The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the FMCG retail channel, managing key accounts across supermarkets and independent retail networks.
The role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets, expanding the customer base, and executing commercial and trade strategies to support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Monitor sales performance and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Manage key client relationships and lead commercial negotiations with strategic accounts.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance at departmental and client level.
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate promotional and trade marketing activities.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence.
Ensure effective collaboration with internal departments, including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics.
Monitor customer credit exposure in cooperation with relevant departments.
Propose improvements in commercial processes and contribute to the development of sales policies.
Provide insights and recommendations for new product development based on market trends.
Maintain regular communication with key customers and participate in business reviews and meetings.
Travel as required to meet clients and support business development activities across regions.
