Join our team for a full time contract in a fast growing working environment as a Reservations Agent Location: Thessaloniki Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all reservation request is attended and handled as per the company’s standards and procedures; maintain confidentiality of guests’ information Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the reservation experience Apply upselling techniques at all time Process payments and confirm arrangements concerning individual guests or travel agents over the phone, by e mail, on line and in person Maintain good relations with agents, companies and regular guests Review reservation booked daily;
Resolve unexpected overbooking situations Create and maintain reservation records, order material supplies and all necessary hotel documents Communicate reservation information (cancellations and modifications) to the Front Desk and follow company’s policy for no shows Ensure special handling of repeats guest and very VIP guest Handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully Coordinate and communicate with all departments (Operations, Finance and Housekeeping) to ensure a smooth operation Qualifications / Personal characteristics: Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar position in the luxury hospitality industry or in any other customer relations or sales department Excellent knowledge of English language; a second language would be a plus Computer literacy and experience in Opera / Fidelio programs Maintain at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene Strong customer service and communication skills, detail oriented and a problem solving person BA in Tourism would be preferred Pleasant personality, team player, focused on accomplishing high quality result Benefits: Career development in a fast paced growing work environment Daily meal Private health insurance Training opportunities TOR Hotel Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
