As a Quality Assurance Officer, your main responsibilities will be: Oversee the entire production process to ensure strict adherence to internal quality procedures, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
Ensure the olive oil complies with national and international food safety regulations and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, IFS), safeguarding product integrity and consumer safety.
Verify that both olive oil and packaging materials meet legal, safety, and customer requirements for domestic and export markets.
Identify and report any deviations, non-conformities, or manufacturing defects in the product or packaging, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare, coordinate, and participate in internal and external audits.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and quality records in line with audit requirements.
Oversee and validate laboratory testing and chemical analysis.
Proactively propose and implement quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and process optimizations to enhance product safety, consistency, and competitiveness.
