Job responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all daily activities in the pastry kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Assist the Head Pastry Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and creating new dessert concepts.
Ensure all pastry and bakery products meet the hotel’s quality, taste, and presentation standards.
Oversee mise en place preparation and ensure readiness for service.
Maintain portion control, monitor waste, and support cost control initiatives.
Train, guide, and motivate pastry team members, ensuring high performance and morale.
Ensure strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and all hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
Inspect pastry kitchen areas and equipment regularly for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.
Collaborate closely with other kitchen sections and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Supervise and support Pastry Chef de Partie, Demi Pastry Chefs, and Commis Pastry Chefs in daily tasks.
