Steward The Role: At Domes Resorts the Steward position has an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of a kitchen or foodservice environment.
Though it is primarily focused on cleaning duties, the position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team, and knowledge of hygiene and safety practices.
Stewards at Domes play also a vital support role that enables other kitchen staff to focus on food preparation and service.
With strong work ethic and dedication, the Steward role provides a foundation for career growth in the culinary industry of Domes Resorts.
Some of the responsibilities: Kitchen Operations Services · Dishwashing and cleaning all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure that all kitchen and dining areas are clean and free from debris.
· Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately and regularly, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including counters, floors, and equipment.
· Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing vegetables or measuring ingredients.
Help in the assembly of dishes as directed.
· Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Collaboration with Team Members · Work effectively with other kitchen staff to support overall kitchen operations.
· Communicate any equipment needs or maintenance issues to management.
Health & Safety Assignment · Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
· Maintain personal hygiene standards in line with health regulations.
