Job Summary As an In-Residence Dining Waiter, you will be a cornerstone of our personalized luxury experience, delivering curated in-room dining services that reflect elegance, discretion, and intuitive hospitality.
You will work closely with the culinary and guest services teams to ensure that each guest receives flawless, timely, and memorable dining service—directly in the privacy and comfort of their accommodation.
This is a guest-facing role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for exceeding expectations at every opportunity.
Key duties and responsibilities Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional in-room dining service in accordance with the hotel’s luxury standards.
Handle guest orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring adherence to dietary requests and customization.
Prepare tray/table setups to perfection, ensuring attention to detail, cleanliness, and brand presentation guidelines.
Maintain an organized and fully stocked in-room dining pantry/station throughout the shift.
Uphold high hygiene, safety, and food handling standards, following HACCP and local health regulations.
Collaborate with the overnight culinary team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of service.
Proactively respond to guest requests or special needs with a solutions-oriented approach.
Follow grooming standards and report for duty punctually in designated uniform.
Handle service recovery tactfully and escalate guest feedback to the supervisor if needed.
Ensure all equipment and service tools are handled with care and properly sanitized and stored.
Complete all assigned side-work (e.g. restocking amenities, folding napkins, cleaning service carts).
Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required for overnight operations.
Execute all duties with discretion, especially in scenarios requiring privacy and confidentiality.
Skills, experience and educational requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury hospitality, restaurant, or in-room dining service Demonstrated professionalism and a guest-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems such is preferred.
Experience in a luxury resort or 5-star hospitality environment is a strong advantage.
