We are now seeking a professional and passionate Head Waiter to join our service team and lead the dining experience with warmth, precision, and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities: -Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate the service team, ensuring efficient operations and outstanding guest service at all times. -Service Flow: Organize and delegate daily tasks, maintaining smooth flow during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations. -Training & Guidance: Mentor and support new and existing team members, upholding service standards and procedures. -Guest Interaction: Welcome guests, present menus, and assist with food and wine recommendations, enhancing the dining experience. -Upselling: Promote food and beverage options through suggestive selling and menu knowledge. -Order Management: Take orders accurately and ensure timely communication with the kitchen and bar teams. -Service Excellence: Oversee food and beverage delivery to tables, ensuring elegance, accuracy, and guest satisfaction. -Cleanliness & Setup: Maintain high hygiene standards and oversee table setup, cleanliness, and readiness of the dining area. -Complaint Handling: Address guest concerns diplomatically and take immediate action to resolve issues. -Stock Monitoring: Monitor service equipment and stock levels, reporting needs to the appropriate department. -Safety & Hygiene: Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations as required in a fine dining environment.
Requirements: -Experience: Proven experience in a similar role in high-end restaurants or hotels. -Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. -Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Greek or other languages is a plus. -Service Knowledge: Solid understanding of table service, wine pairing, and fine dining etiquette. -Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, guest-oriented mindset, and polished personal presentation. -Problem-Solving: Calm, professional demeanor in handling challenges or guest concerns. -Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. -Teamwork: Positive, respectful, and proactive attitude toward colleagues and management. -Excellent knowledge of the menus.
