The hotel Gundari in Folegandros, is looking for candidates for the following position: F&B Manager You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and adherence to quality and financial standards.
The F&B Manager supports the development of the team, enhances guest satisfaction, and works closely with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Management Supervise daily F&B operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and catering outlets.
Ensure all F&B areas meet high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and procurement to ensure seamless operations.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Implement procedures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
Guest Satisfaction Monitor guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints promptly and effectively.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure a personalized dining experience.
Work with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations.
Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, and mentor the F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Develop and communicate clear performance goals for team members.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
Menu and Product Development Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain appealing and profitable menus.
Ensure menu items align with guest preferences, market trends, and brand standards.
Drive innovation in product offerings, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and creativity.
Financial Management Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for F&B operations.
Monitor revenue and expenses, implementing strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
Analyze sales and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Compliance and Standards Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all F&B areas.
Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and liquor laws to maintain legal and operational standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to company and regulatory policies.
Coordination and Collaboration Work closely with other departments to support events, group bookings, and special occasions.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional activities that drive F&B revenue.
Maintain open communication with the senior management team to align F&B goals with business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in F&B management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and inventory management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in operational tools and software (e.g., POS systems, scheduling tools).
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
