Finance Officer
The University of Nicosia invites applications for the role of Finance Officer for our upcoming Athens campus.
This position plays a vital role in the daily financial operations of the campus, including managing student financial transactions, handling institutional accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities: Student Financial Management: Handle student registrations and manage financial transactions, including tuition fees and scholarships.
Update student payment records and provide support in payment collection efforts.
Communicate with students to resolve financial matters and inquiries.
Accounting Operations: Record and manage financial transactions, including payables and entries.
Invoice/myDATA digital bookkeeping processes and store financial documents.
Manage bank transactions and reconciliations.
Handle tax and social insurance obligations per national regulations.
Record and manage university financial transactions, including receivables, payables, and entries.
Banking and Tax Compliance: Oversee and prepare bank transactions and reconciliations.
Prepare tax, insurance, and labor statutory forms.
Handle tax and social insurance obligations according to national regulations.
Reporting and System Oversight: Prepare regular and ad-hoc administrative and financial reports.
Maintain and manage payroll and accounting systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Support audit processes and produce the necessary documentation.
