Role Characteristics | Position Code: FNC26 Title: Finance Manager Reporting to: Director of Finance Employment Type & Work Location: Full time, Corfu Island Greece The Finance Manager plays a key role in driving the hotel’s financial and operational performance.
This position serves as the main point of contact for all Heads of Departments, ensuring they receive timely, accurate, and actionable financial information that supports effective daily decision-making.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will monitor the hotel’s financial stability and profitability, strengthen cost-control culture across all departments, and act as a strategic partner in operational planning.
This role bridges Finance with the hotel’s day-to-day operations by translating financial insights into practical guidance for department leaders, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s commercial objectives and Banyan Group standards.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary finance contact for all Heads of Departments, providing clear financial insights, daily performance updates, and guidance to support operational decision-making Collaborate closely with department heads in reviewing and understanding their monthly performance, cost center results, and operational KPIs Support HODs in creating and monitoring their departmental budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and procurement needs.
Provide proactive recommendations to improve profitability, optimize departmental spending, and enhance operational efficiency Assist HODs in preparing justification for capital expenditures, pre-opening needs, and other financial requests to management Track daily financial indicators (revenue, occupancy, F&B cost, operational expenses) and flag variances to the Director of Finance and HODs Lead the preparation of rolling forecasts and ensure timely updates based on actual operational trends Analyze month-end results, support variance explanations, and ensure all departments understand their financial performance Prepare management reports and presentations for internal meetings, ownership, and Banyan Group corporate teams Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team in daily tasks, month-end closing, and professional development Foster effective cooperation between Finance and Operations, promoting a collaborative, solution-oriented approach Benefits & Offers: Full-time, year-round position Competitive salary and benefits package (including accommodation and full board meals) Ongoing trainings, around department & company standards A supportive and collaborative work environment Membership of ALL Heartist Accor staff card, offering staff rates across all Accor properties worldwide What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience of at least 5 years in a financial management position, ideally in the hotel industry Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Experience in preparing budgets, financial analyses, and reports Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively How to apply: Please submit your CV at hr-corfu@angsana.com quoting Position Job Code FNC_26 Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa is an equal-opportunity employer.
