The ideal candidate will be technology-proficient, possessing emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills and a “Yes we can” attitude towards guests and colleagues.
What to expect: Maximum of 8 working hours per day, including a 30-minute break One day off per week Payment on time All wages and benefits are included as required by law Three meals per day Accommodation inside the establishment Opportunities for professional development Friendly and collaborative work environment Training and development opportunities The Role: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and high-quality coffee drinks such as espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes.
Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at the bar.
Offer recommendations on beverages, including wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic options.
Monitor bar inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee preparation areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Handle payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to provide a seamless guest experience.
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their visit.
Ensure proper maintenance and storage of bar and coffee equipment.
Uphold the resort’s high standards for hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence.
Skills that can make you stand out in this role: (Missing some? You will still be considered a valuable ambassador.) Proven experience as a Bartender in a hospitality setting.
Knowledge and experience in preparing coffee drinks and operating coffee machines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with guests.
Familiarity with bar and coffee equipment and maintenance procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety regulations for bar operations.
